INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION WEEK

The International Construction Week (ICW), is an annual program of Ministry of Works Malaysia and CIDB Malaysia.


This unique platform gathers all industry leaders and key players in the global construction industry in one place to showcase the latest construction product and services in construction mechanisation and automation, Green Technology, ICT in Construction and construction industry’s achievement in building and infrastructure sectors. This event also showcases the key construction projects as outlined in the Economic Transformation Plan, Regional Development Corridor.

ICW is also to provide a knowledge sharing platform, through various conferences and seminars which will be concurrently held during the event. Participation saw not just among industry players, but also from supporting industries, government agencies, associations, manufacturers and suppliers of construction related products and services, institution of higher learning and the public. 


 

GOVERNMENT ASSET MANAGEMENT POLICY
 

Launching ceremony for the government asset management policy by The Right Honourable Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, former Prime Minister of Malaysia on 31 March 2009, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), Putrajaya. Jointly organised by the Public Works Department of Malaysia and AMPM.

Government Asset Management Policy

The Government Asset Management Policy, which was derived from NAFAM 2007, is aimed at meeting the following objectives:

  1. Creation of assets to meet the requirements of the government delivery services.

  2. Asset management to be implemented in a systematic, holistic and sustainable
    manner to optimize the benefits of the asset.

  3. Asset information that is systematic, transparent and easily accessible.

  4. The Total Asset Management approach is adopted and monitored.

NATIONAL ASSET & FACILITY MANAGEMENT (NAFAM) 2009

 

NAFAM was officiated by The Right Honorable Tan Sri Muhyiddin bin Mohd Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia on 26 & 27 October 2009, Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur. Jointly organised by the Public Works Department of Malaysia and AMPM.
